inspection involves a complete and thorough visual analysis of all the major
systems and components of the property. Inspections typically range
from 2-4 hours and you are encouraged to follow along. When the inspection is
over, our inspector will review and discuss all pertinent findings and
potential solutions. You will also receive a detailed written report within 24
hours.

Roofing: Shingles, flashings, chimneys, vents, trim and
gutters, drip edges, skylights, downspouts, and other visible roof related
items.
Exterior: Grounds,
driveways, walkways, patios, retaining walls, siding materials, attachments, windows, doors, sashes and lintels,
vents, entryways, decks, porches, and other visible exterior related
components.
Structure: Foundation, Floor construction, Exterior
wall construction, Roof and ceiling construction.
Electrical: Service entry and clearances, service panel,
switches and outlets, visible wiring and junction boxes, grounding system, and
other related electrical components.
Heating and Cooling: Furnace, air condition, Fuel energy source,
distribution, Capacity, Efficiency, Chimney and other visible related HVAC
components.
Insulation: Type of material, Amount of insulation,
Roof ventilation, Air/vapour barrier,
Plumbing and Fixtures: Water
supply source, water pressure, water distribution
system, water heater, sinks and faucets, bath/showers and toilets, sanitary
system, and other plumbing system components.
Basements and Crawl
Spaces: Evidence of leakage, humidity levels, signs of mould, ventilation,
drainage, installation of floor joists and collar
ties, construction of walls and
ceilings, stairs, railings, and overall assessment of basement.
Attic: Insulation, ventilation, rafters, trusses, wiring
attachments, skylight installation, and other visible related items.
Interior: Floors and ceilings, walls, stairs (if applicable)
and banisters, finishes, sinks, smoke detectors and safety-related items, and
other visible interior-related components.
